Dr Cole is convenor of the Cardiothoracic Surgery Trainees meeting, which is run under the supervision of the Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS), in conjunction with the Australia and New Zealand Society of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgeons (ANZSCTS).
